A Healthy Evening Snack – A Simple Recipe
Boil 5 to 6 cups of water in a vessel. When the water starts boiling, add the pearl millet and cook until it becomes soft. Drain the excess water and transfer the cooked millet to a bowl. (If using a cooker for cooking the pearl millet, add 4 cups of water and cook for one whistle).
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the mustard seeds, urad dal, the onion, and the curry leaves and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the cooked pearl millet and saute for 2 minutes and transfer it to a serving bowl.
Now add the carrot, raw mango, and coriander leaves to the cooked pearl millet.
Finally add grated coconut to enhance the taste.
This is a healthy evening snack for everyone!
