A Tasty Snack made Healthy with Millet – Simple Recipe
Clean and soak the kodo millet, raw rice, idli rice, and wheat together for 4 to 5 hours.
Grind it nicely to a fine batter. Add salt and mix it to combine well.
Add water, if required to make it a little thinner than the dosa batter consistency. Add the onions and green chillies and mix it well.
Now, heat oil in a kadai. Once the oil becomes hot, pour a ladle of the batter and wait until the adai comes up.(once cooked, it will come up in the oil)
When the adai comes up, turn it and after a few seconds take it out and keep it in an oil drainer.
Once the oil is drained, transfer the adai to a plate.
A Very tasty millet kara adai is ready for serving.
Side dish: This does not require any side dish ! You can eat it with the mixed vegetable kuzhambu. Idli kara podi is also a good combination for this.
