A Very Simple Recipe for a Healthy Millet Dosa
Wash and soak kodo millet, urad dal and fenugreek seeds together for 4 to 5 hours.
Grind the soaked mixture in a wet grinder to a fine batter. Transfer the batter to a bowl and add salt and mix it well to combine evenly. Keep the bowl closed and let it ferment for 6 to 7 hours.
Before making dosa, mix the batter well and add water if needed(The batter should be thinner than idli batter, but not too watery)
Heat a tawa and spread the batter into a thin dosa. Sprinkle oil or ghee. Once the bottom is golden, flip the dosa and cook for a while.
Flip again and sprinkle the idli kara podi all over the dosa and fold it. Transfer the podi dosa to a plate.
Side dish: Coconut chutney or any sambar or idli chilli powder will be suitable for this dosa.
