Prepare Special Idli/Dosa Kara Podi
Dry roast urad dal in a thick kadai stirring continuously until it turns golden in colour and transfer it to a plate.
Dry roast the chana dal in the same kadai until it turns light brownish in colour and transfer it to the same plate.
In the same way, dry roast flax seeds, chia seeds and sesame seeds separately until you get a nice aroma of them and transfer to the same plate.
Now, take the oil in a kadai and roast the red chilli and pepper and keep them aside in a bowl.
In the same oil roast the curry leaves and add them with the chillies.
Once the roasted items are cooled take them in a mixie jar and add salt, and grind it to a coarse powder.
Tasty idli/dosa kara podi is ready for serving.
Note: Flax seeds and chia seeds are optional based on their availability
