Tasty Millet Dosa – Simple Recipe

Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Soak the millet and rice together for 3 to 4 hours.

  • Step 2

    Cut the jackfruit into small pieces and keep it aside.

  • Step 3

    Grind the millet and rice along with coconut to a nice batter. Now add the jackfruit and salt and grind for a few more minutes and transfer the batter to a bowl. Batter is ready for making dosa.

  • Step 4

    Heat a tawa and keep the flame in medium. Spread the batter into a thin dosa.

  • Step 5

    Sprinkle oil or ghee around the dosa. Flip it once the base is golden and let it get cooked on the other side also. Transfer the dosa to a serving plate!

Tips & variations

  • Note: Keep the flame medium and cook the dosa nicely for better taste.

  • Side dish: Tomato chutney will be a good choice for this dish. Dosa will be slightly sweet in taste!
