Add water to ragi flour and mix it well so that no lumps are formed.
Heat the mix in a thick-bottomed vessel stirring constantly on medium heat.
After 3 minutes, add the powdered jaggery and cardamom powder.
Start adding the ghee little by little and continue stirring until all the ghee is used.
Lower the heat and keep stirring for another 3–4 minutes. The mixture will start coming together.
Add the fried cashews and almonds. Mix it well.
Cook for some more time, mixing constantly until the ghee separates from the mix. The Millet Halwa is now ready for serving !
You can use sugar instead of jaggery or coconut sugar. You can use coconut oil if you are using coconut sugar!
