Tasty and Healthy Ragi Ladoo – Easy to make recipe of a millet sweet

Ingredients

Step by step method

  • Step 1

    In a pan, roast the groundnuts, remove the skin and keep it aside.

  • Step 2

    Dry roast black sesame and grated fresh coconut separately in low heat. Keep them aside to cool.

  • Step 3

    Take 3 tablespoons of ghee in the pan and roast the almonds and cashews along with the Ragi flour for 15-20 minutes. Add more ghee if needed. You will get a nice aroma and see the almonds and cashews are roasted.

  • Step 4

    Add the roasted groundnuts, coconut and black sesame with this stir well.

  • Step 5

    Now, add the palm sugar and cardamom powder. Stir for a few minutes until all the ingredients mix well.

  • Step 6

    Take the content off the heat and let it cool. Make ladoo of your preferred size.

Tips & variations

  • To avoid sticking to your palms, you can apply ghee.

  • You can even add palm jaggery or even jaggery instead of palm sugar.
