A differently tasting side dish for idli / dosa!

Ingredients

Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Add a teaspoon of oil to a hot tawa, add groundnuts, and fry them. (if they are fried groundnuts, skip this process)

  • Step 2

    Add red chillies and fry them a little. Now add capsicums and a little bit of tamarind. It is time to add salt now.

  • Step 3

    Let these items cook for a few minutes or until they are tender and mushy. Now let this mixture cool down.

  • Step 4

    Grind this mixture to a coarse paste and transfer the content to a serving bowl.

  • Now yummy capsicum chutney is ready.

Tips & variations

  • Mustard seasoning with curry leaves is your choice.
