A South Indian Spicy Biryani made Healthy with Millet – Easy to Cook Recipe
Heat the ghee in a cooker. Add cinnamon, cloves, star sombu, biryani leaf and mint leaves and fry for 2 minutes.
Add the onion and fry until it turns transparent.. Add the ginger and garlic paste and stir well until the raw smell disappears.
Now add tomato and keep frying. Add garam masala and biryani masala and stir well.
Add vegetables and green peas and fry until the masala mixes well.
Add the water and let it boil. Once the water comes to boiling add the pearl millet and salt.
Close the cooker and keep it on medium flame for two whistles.
Yummy, but healthy millet vegetable biryani is ready for serving.
Side dish: Cucumber and onion raita, Brinjal curry will be suitable for this biryani.
