A Healthy Breakfast/Dinner – A Simple Recipe
Soak the pearl millet poha in a wide vessel adding enough water for 5 minutes.
Drain the excess water and grind the poha to a fine batter adding less water(Maximum ¼ cup).
Add all the ingredients starting from rice flour to salt and knead it to a soft dough.
Heat a tawa and keep a ball-sized dough and pat it to a roti(Use some oil or water so that the dough is not sticky to your fingers).
Cook the roti on both sides keeping the stove on a medium flame.
Healthy vegetable millet roti is ready to serve!
Coconut chutney is a good combination for this!
Should be careful while patting the roti on the tawa. Otherwise, you can use either banana leaf or some nonstick paper to pat the flour and then transfer it to the tawa.
