Ingredients

Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Soak the Pearl millet for 3 hours

  • Step 2

    Grind the soaked pearl millet with red chillies, ginger, fennel seeds, cinnamon to a coarsely to the vada batter consistency

  • Step 3

    Add the onions, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt to the batter and mix well

  • Step 4

    Heat the oil in a frying pan and make the vada

  • Nice crispy vada is ready for an evening snack.

Tips & variations

  • This is a healthy snack that everyone can take!

  • Side dish: coconut chutney is the best combination for this vada. Actually, no side dish is needed for this!
