A Special North Indian Healthy dish made with Pearl Millet – Simple Recipe
Grind the millet poha into fine powder in a mixie and transfer it to a wide vessel.
Separately grind the potatoes along with green chillies, ginger and salt.(No need to add water) Add this content to the poha powder kept in the vessel.
Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and cumin seeds to this and mix it well. Now add the coriander leaves and make a dough by adding water slowly.
Finally apply oil on the dough and keep it for 15 to 20 minutes covering it with a thin wet cloth.
Roll the parathas, you can use pearl millet powder to avoid sticking on the roti maker.
Heat a pan and cook the parathas on both sides with oil.
Side dish: This will go with pickle, curd or Mint (green) chutney.
Note: The water required depends on the moisture of the potatoes. So add water according to the need.
