Tasty and healthy snack item using Pearl Millet – A Simple recipe for you to try!

Ingredients

Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Take the mashed banana in a wide bowl. Add the Pearl millet flour and mix well.

  • Step 2

    Then add the jaggery powder and cinnamon powder. (you can add even cardamom powder as per your taste) Add the salt and knead into a soft and stiff dough. Cover it with a thin wet cloth and keep it for 15 to 20 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Roll the dough into rotis.

  • Step 4

    Heat a pan and cook the rotis with ghee. (Oil can be used instead of ghee!)

  • A tasty and healthy snack is ready and serve it hot.

Tips & variations

  • Children will like to eat this sweet roti and this is a healthy food for them!

  • Remark: The same paratha can be made by replacing bananas with ripped jackfruit. That will be of a different taste and I like it very much!
