Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Clean and soak both the millets and sago together for 3 to 4 hours. Clean and soak the urad dal and fenugreek seeds together for 2 hours.

  • Step 2

    Grind the millet in a wet grinder to a fine batter.

  • Step 3

    Grind the urad dal and fenugreek seeds nicely adding water in installments until the batter becomes fluffy.

  • Step 4

    Mix both the batters together, add salt and mix well. Ferment it overnight.

  • Step 5

    The next morning, mix the batter well. Add little water, if required, and bring it to dosa consistency. Then make dosa in the usual procedure.

Tips & variations
